In a large bowl, combine the sliced squash and onion with the cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish. WebStir in eggs, salt, and pepper. Then transfer the squash mixture to the prepared baking dish. In a small bowl, combine the remaining Gruyere cheese and 1/2 cup of bread crumbs. Drizzle w/ reserved melted butter and toss. Scatter the crumb mixture over the casserole and bake for 30 min until the top is crisp and golden.
